Th 7/4 p.m. St. Paul W 17-5 45-25 WP-Haefner.  Millers get 22 hits and set a league reord with 8 home runs (Wright 4, Weintraub, Storti 2, Walker) and 50 total bases.  Wright, with 4 home runs and a triple, sets a league record with 19 total bases, breaking the record set by Dale Alexander at Nicollet Park on June 14, 1935.  Wright scores 5 runs and drives in 7.  Wright tripled in the 1st off Art Herring with a drive that crashed against the concrete near the flagpole, hit a 400-foot homer over the wall in deep right-center off Vic Frasier iin the 3rd, homered (estimated at 450 feet on the fly) over the center-field wall a foot to the right of the flagpole off Marcus Bettingfield in the 4th, homered to left-center off Tom Earley in the 5th, and homered to left-center, the ball landing on a building and bouncing into Lake Street, off Earley in the 7th.
