Millers sell Harry Taylor to Toledo.  A good-fielding first baseman, Taylor was displaced by the better-hitting Phil Weintraub.  Taylor's only appearance of the season for the Millers was as a pinch-hitter in the second game on April 23.

Th 5/11 Kansas City Blues L 4-6 14-7 LP-Hash.  HR-Harvey "Hub" Walker, Pfleger.  After Tiny Bonham hits Wright with a pitch, Wright hurls his bat at Bonham, starting a free-for-all.  Wright was ejected, and everyone emerged from the fight without being hurt except for Weintraub and Wright, who complained of injured knuckles.
F 5/12 Kansas City L 7-9 14-8 LP-Hallahan.  HR-Denning and Hallahan.  Wright fined and suspended indefinitely.  Andy Cohen makes his last appearance for the Millers by pinch-hitting for Tauscher in the 9th and reaching base on an error.  (Cohen had one other appearance, as a pinch-hitter on May 2.)  Kelley released Cohen on option so he could become player-manager for the Class C team in Pine Bluff, Arkansas in the Cotton States League.
