Fabian Gaffke returns to the Millers on option from the Boston Red Sox.  He had been sold/traded to the Boston Red at the end of the 1936 season for $25,000 and players, a deal that started and "advantageous tieup" with the Red Sox, causing Wagner, Henry, Peacock, Dickey, Cooke, and Spence to be sent to the Millers on option.
