Barton in the Minneapolis Tribune: "After mauling Guyon on the field, the Miller catcher followed Guyon under the grandstand and walloped the big Indian until Josephus conceded defeat."  On the field, Ainsmith had "pummeled him with vim and vigor until players and policemen pried him off his victim."

F 5/22 Milwaukee W 16-7 19-17 Tillie Walker hits 3 consecutive homers, Smith hits 2, and Duncan hits his 8th home run.  Walker's first home was called the second-longer homer ever hit at Nicollet Park.  (In 1910 Hobe Ferris hit a building across the alley back of the center-field fence.)  Walker's homer hit a few feet to the left of the center-field fence, hit the top of the fence, and bounced into the alley.
