Su 8/1 St. Paul W 5-1 (6) 17-30 Stopped by police and manager Whitcomb arrested for playing on Sunday.  St. Paul and Minneapolis Pioneer Press: "The Sunday game at Minneapolis between the home team and the St. Pauls was stopped at the close of the sixth inning by the police at the insistence of Mayor Ames, and Manager Whitcomb was placed under arrest under the new ordinance.  The game then stood 5 to 1 in favor of Minneapolis.  The crowd was the largest of the season, over three thousand people being present, including many of the leading citizens of either city."
